Aftertouch is an audiovisual project aiming to explore the intersection between sound and image. Its EP Version results from the development and completion of the previous Studio one. Walter Magi's musical research fuses subtractive synthesis, physical models and organic sounds, giving life to soundscapes that oscillate between the concrete and the abstract. On a visual level, light and video effects emerge from a dialogue with the musical composition that intends to proceed by analogy, following one another in an attempt to offer a perceptual experience as synaesthetic as possible between sight and hearing.
